Chris was born in Mt. Albert, Auckland, New Zealand.
His father was an artist in oil paints and worked from his own studio.
He was also a nurseryman and a landscaper who loved the west coast of Auckland.
Much of Chris’ childhood was spent on the west coast of Auckland and this would account for his ongoing love affair with the coast and bush.
Some of these popular West coast beaches today were only accessible by rough dirt and metal roads then.
These popular beaches today promised solace then.
Chris still knows where the secret areas of solace and serenity exist, where creation carries on unaware of the rest of the worlds fast pace.

Taking time to choose your favorite work or print will allow you to sense the clean air, to feel the freshness of a gentle sea breeze, to hear the roar of the ocean, to smell the scent of a native bush or tree, or to hear the song of the Tui or Bell bird.

We should all be more liberated people through this window into Chris’ world, God’s world and indeed your world for that’s what it is. Your world. It’s where we live. Creation.
